Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping Information & Policies

Where Do You Ship?

I currently ship within the U.S. but do not ship to Florida, Alaska, or Hawaii.

When Will My Order Ship?

Orders typically ship within 4 business days of being placed. However, I only ship live animals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to ensure safe and timely arrival.

  • Orders placed before noon CST on Sunday will ship the following Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

  • Orders placed after noon CST on Sunday will not ship until the following week's Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (up to 8 days later).

This schedule ensures animals are not delayed in transit over weekends.

Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) & DOA Policy

I take every precaution to ensure safe arrival, but if your order arrives with deceased animals, here’s how I handle it:

  • DOA Claims: Contact me within 1 hours of the delivery time shown by the carrier and provide photo or video proof.

  • Hold for Pickup Orders: If your order was held at a post office for pickup, you have 3 hours to report any issues.

  • If you experience a delayed order or DOA past the deadline, please still reach out—I’ll do my best to make things right.

For severely delayed orders:

  • If an order is delayed 10+ days and the animals arrive DOA (or USPS confirms the package as lost), I will replace or refund the order.

  • Orders that take 5+ days to arrive are rarely affected, as my packaging is designed to keep animals safe.

Hold for Pickup Requirements (Weather-Related)

If temperatures at the delivery location are expected to be below 45°F or above 80°F, isopod orders will automatically be held for pickup at your nearest USPS post office.

  • You will receive an email notification with the post office address where your order is being held.

  • If you cannot pick up at a post office, contact me before ordering to discuss options.

  • You may request a "Hold for Pickup" for any order by noting it in the order comments at checkout.

Delayed Orders

If your live animal order hasn’t arrived by Saturday of the week it was shipped, email me at isopodoasis@gmail.com, and I will follow up with the carrier.

Returns & Refunds (Non-Live Products)

Refunds and returns for non-live products are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please provide a reason when requesting a refund/return.
